Description of event

The focus of this workshop is to inform participants how to build a stakeholder-driven, strategic organization yielding meaningful results that grantors will come looking for them.  It will also discuss the how the grants that they apply for are as important as the opportunities they pursue and how to prioritize their grant prospects.

 

Educational Objectives:

 

Ø      Participants will discuss how to know their audience and tailor their application approach accordingly.

 

Ø      Participants will learn and discuss the 5 C's, is your proposal: complete, correct, clear, concise and compelling.

 

Ø      Participants will explore how go beyond what there are proposing; the why (think big picture) and with whom (think collaboration) are very important.

 

Ø      Participants will learn the best grant prospects are their current funders and how to put as much energy implementing existing grant awards as they would do seeking new grants.
